Potential side effects

- Sudden feelings of weakness or numbness, especially when experienced on one side or the other of the body
- Stools that are tarry or bloody, vomit with the appearance of coffee grounds, or coughing up blood
- Ringing in the ears or problems hearing
- Severe pain in the stomach, vomiting or nausea that is ongoing, yellowing of the eyes or skin
- Bruising or bleeding easily, unusual feelings of weakness
- Pounding or fast heartbeat, or feeling as if you will pass out
Trilisate Essential information
This medication has the potential to cause circulation or heart issues that can be life threatening. These issues might include stroke or heart attack and the risks increase with long term use. You should not take this medication right before or after you have any kind of bypass surgery of the heart such as CABG.
Seek immediate information if you notice weakness, pain in the chest, slurring speech, issues with your balance or vision or weakness.
It is also possible that this medication can have serious side effects to the intestines or stomach. This includes perforation or bleeding. These can be potentially fatal conditions that can happen without any kind of warning, especially in those adults who are older.
Contact your health care provider at one time if you notice any stomach bleeding symptoms including bloody, black or tarry stools; begin coughing up blood or have vomit that has the appearance of coffee grounds. This medicine shouldn't be given to children or teens that have fevers, especially if chicken pox or flu symptoms are present. Salicylates have the potential to cause a condition known as Reye's syndrome in young children. Reye's syndrome can be serious and is sometimes fatal.
