I was prescribed Celebrex because other painkillers were not much effective in suppressing the sharp back pain, the result of a slipped disc. Celebrex acted instantly, making me almost pain free within minutes. “Almost” because I still feel the discomfort but it is not exactly pain anymore.
Side Effects
Once missed a dose and the sharp pain returned in no time, other than that I can only attribute a mild headache to it along with stomach cramps and bloating. However, these are quite easy to live with compared to the terrible pain that I had in the past, so for the moment I am sticking with it.
