Benefits
The best benefit of this drug will be if my bone density actually improves. I will not have another density test for nine more months. I will find out then. Another benefit of Actonel is you only have to take it once a month, if you can handle the side effects. I could not, so I take 35mg weekly, which doesn’t have any of the effects the monthly had for me.
Side Effects
Mild heartburn with the weekly dose of Actonel pills. The monthly dose gave serious back and shoulder pain along with fever and chills.
