Benefits
I suffer from lupus and I am on pain medications for about three years now. The previous painkiller was losing its effect with time so my doctor changed it to Lorcet medication. Though it is not as if I am totally pain free but still I can live normally and can easily ignore the discomfort that remains 24/7.
Side Effects
I had to make dietary changes as my doc warned me of constipation as a side effect. With lots of water intake and an increase fibrous diet, I am able to limit this side effect though not totally avoid it. For an occasional constipation episode any stool softener such as Colace would do.
