For my fibromyalgia, the doc said this would be the best treatment. Utter garbage. Okay so it might of in the end knocked me out and let me sleep for 12 hours (I needed that!), but I think I’d rather be run over by a truck than deal with the horrendous side effects of this drug ever again.
Totally horrible. Just 30 minutes after swallowing a
Lyrica capsule, I experienced a swollen face and lips and my face was itching like crazy. Then, it followed a few hours later with shooting pains in my back and crippling stomach pains at the same time. Truly nasty. I called the doctor and he said I’d taken too much and told me to reduce the dose by half next time. Still, I got the same awful symptoms when I took the second dose in the evening. A really evil drug, I never took it again and I never will.
