My husband passed away suddenly and I fell into a major depression. I tried other antidepressants, but could not handle the assorted side effects. Paxil drug worked for me without any side effects. It took about 3 weeks before I could feel a difference. When it was time to come off it, I had to do it slowly. There is a risk of withdrawal symptoms if you stop immediately. It took about 3 weeks of slowly reducing the Paxil pills dosage.
