Percocet was prescribed for me to take at home, after a hysterectomy. In the hospital, I was given Demerol for pain, which I did not have a problem taking. When I tried
Percocet medication, it did not agree with me at all. In my experience, I do not believe there were any benefits.
Even though I felt very odd, I still had pain. My mouth became extremely dry when I took this medication and I became very sweaty and nauseated. I also was very itchy all over. The doctor changed Percocet drug to another pain medication and advised I may be allergic to it.
