Modafinil does keep you alert. Few years back I was diagnosed with narcolepsy. Taking Modafinil has really helped me with my constant fatigue and tiredness. It makes me stay alert and I have no trouble driving my car. There is no associated nausea though sometimes I feel over excited and hyperactive, usually in the morning or daytime. I can now concentrate better on my work and can think with a clear mind.
Side Effects
Mild headaches in the evening sometimes, probably due to the drug wearing off. When taken late in the day, it becomes quite difficult to sleep on time at night. I have also observed some mood swings and decrease in appetite.
