Benefits
My biggest fear with Percocet was to develop tolerance or addiction to it, but my doc prescribed only for a few days and said it won’t be a problem this way. I took it for my post op shoulder pain. It did take away the pain; however, a slight discomfort remained at the site, but that was easily manageable. I felt sleepy all the time and doped, though it was good as all I wanted to do was forget about the pain.
Side Effects
I had some problems with sleep. I could go to sleep easily but then would wake up in the middle of the night and then was unable to go back to sleep; had some disturbing dreams and hallucinated. It made me nauseated a couple of times.
