Benefits
My son has suffered from ADD for years. Because of this, he found it very hard to pay attention in school and he had been failing many of his classes. Ritalin has been fantastic. His concentration level during school has greatly improved and he now enjoys going to school. He also seems happier too, and is much more self-confident.
Side Effects
There are a few minor side effects with this drug. My son doesn’t seem to eat as much as he used to; I think the drug has caused him to lose his appetite. Another side effect of Ritalin I’ve noticed is that he’s been having a difficult time falling asleep. I hope these side effects will eventually go away.
