Benefits
My rescue inhaler is dusty now! Since starting Singulair for my allergy-induced asthma, I have not needed my inhaler. I still get some minor allergy symptoms like runny nose and watery eyes, but the doctor told me it is safe to take an OTC allergy while taking Singulair medicine. I wanted to get rid of the inhaler, but the doctor says I should keep it near just in case.
Side Effects
I have heard of people who get depressed and suicidal while taking Singulair pills, but I have not had that experience.
