Accutane had been good for me. It has totally cleared up my acne, and the texture of my skin is much better. It’s also made the pits and scarring in my skin much less noticeable. I would say that this treatment is very effective as it changed the whole make up of my skin. I used to be very oily but now my skin is dry and much more normal. I should point out that this is the second time I have used
Accutane. It worked before but then my acne returned 2 years later. However, since I have completed this second course it hasn’t come back.
I’ve had dry skin and my lips have become terribly sore and cracked. I’ve had to use a strong lip balm regularly in order to help moisten my lips and repair the damage. Apart from that though, there are no serious side affects.
