Niaspan has greatly helped me with my high cholesterol problem. I’ve been trying to lower my cholesterol for years, and I feel that I got the best results with this medication. Some other drugs worked, but their side effects were just too much for me to handle.
Side Effects
When I first started taking this prescription drug, I had really bad flushing and itching all over my body. Luckily for me, my friend also takes Niaspan. My friend recommended to me that I should take an Aspirin pill half an hour before a Niaspan pill to reduce the side effects, and I haven’t noticed any since then.
