My GP changed me to Zocor pills, after a bad experience with another medication. I am well aware of the possible side effects statin drugs might have on muscles. However, I am also aware of the side effects of high cholesterol. This time around I added Co-Q10 200mg to my medicine list, at the GP’s suggestion, to minimize muscle pain. Seems to work. My cholesterol is in the upper normal range, I have not had any bad experiences since starting Zocor medication.
