Zolpidem was prescribed as an aid to sleep and get rest after my orthopaedic surgery. The result of the surgery was not according to expectations and thinking about what would become of me in the future, added to the pain and made me miserable to the extent that I spend most of the first two nights crying. Zolpidem was a real help, instead of all the crazy thoughts juggling in my mind, I was sound asleep soon after taking it. In my condition, even a good night sleep was a lot to achieve.
Side Effects
I felt a little groggy even in the daytime, experienced a couple of hallucinations and then thought perhaps it’s better to deal with the problems face to face, so discontinued taking it.
