I have never had allergies before, but while on vacation last year, I did! The pharmacist recommended
Zyrtec medication; it is available over the counter, a very good thing since I could not get to my own doctor. I took one in the morning and it kept the sneezing, watery eyes, and sinus congestion away for the rest of the day. I was able to enjoy the rest of my vacation.
The only side effect I felt from taking Zyrtec was being tired most of the time. It was not horrible I just did not have the energy level I usually have.
